FLOATING AND SINKING DESIGN TECHNOLOGY

In our DT learning, we have played with water to find out what floats and what sinks. We tried different objects and talked about what we noticed. We explored which materials stay dry (waterproof) and which ones get wet.
We looked at lots of different boats and talked about the parts they have. We thought about how boats stay on the water and how they move.
Then, we made our own boats! We gathered the things we wanted to use, built our ideas, and tested them in the water to see how well they worked.
We have become little scientists and engineers—exploring, testing, problem‑solving, and having lots of fun as we learn.
