Four countries of the United Kingdom

Date: 2nd Apr 2026 @ 11:32am

To celebrate our learning about the four countries of the United Kingdom, we all dressed in red, white and blue and enjoyed a range of hands‑on activities inspired by each nation.

We tasted traditional foods, built London landmarks using blocks, LEGO and Duplo, sketched bright daffodils and created our own Welsh love spoons. We had a go at weaving tartan, and used clay to mould Northern Ireland’s famous Giant’s Causeway.

To finish off our afternoon, we took part in a fun UK quiz and ended with a song to celebrate everything we’ve learned this term.

A fantastic, creative and memorable way to bring all our geography learning together! 🌟
