Parent Afternoon

Year 1 were delighted to welcome parents and carers this afternoon for our Nurturing Nurses event. The session celebrated the children’s learning about Mary Seacole and Florence Nightingale, a history topic they have approached with great enthusiasm and curiosity.
The afternoon provided a range of engaging, hands-on experiences designed to deepen their understanding. Activities included a role-play station, recreating Scutari Hospital prior to Florence Nightingale’s improvements, sampling a herbal remedy, planting, and making lanterns—among many others.
