Phonics in space day

Our Year 1 children had an out of this world day exploring phonics in a fun and creative ways! They arrived dressed as amazing aliens, astronauts and other fantastic space creatures.
Throughout the day, we designed our own aliens and gave them imaginative names using our phonics knowledge. We even taught our alien friends some Earth words, played exciting phonics games, and blasted off into a brilliant game of phonics bingo to finish! The children had a great time. What a super space success!
