Y3 have been investigating a Stone Age diet using Stone Age poo! Eurgh! π
They became archaeologists and had the exciting opportunity to dissect some ''fossilised Stone Age poo!'' π΅οΈβοΈThis activity helped us understand that in prehistoric times, there were no written records to tell us about people's lives. Instead, archaeologists rely on clues to piece together the past. π§©π¦΄ By examining the ''fossilised poo'', we learned that early humans ate a lot of berries and seeds, which shows they weren't just hunters but also gatherers, too! This hands-on experience gave us a fascinating glimpse into the diet and daily life of people from the Stone Age whilst also reminding us of how we are able to find out about times before written records began! π£
