We've had a really busy half term

We have been learning lots of new things over the past 7 weeks especially in Geography, Science and Maths. As part of our topic in Geography, we have had great fun showing the process of erosion using modelling clay. In maths, the class had great fun today learning about prime and composite numbers…I wonder how many of parents now what these are? ? In Science, our classes have acted out how the planets orbit the sun in our solar system. We also showed Earth’s moon orbiting and Jupiter’s nine moons orbiting Jupiter. We have even written information texts about our own planet usign fronted adverbials, parenthesis, similes and expanded noun phrases. Amazing work from Year 5.
