Y1 Through the Decades Day

Year 1 transported back to the past last week as they took part in a 'Through the Decades Day' to celebrate their new History topic, 'Changing Childhoods'.
Children in Year 1 had the option to come to school dressed in the fashion styles from the time period of the 1940's through to the 2000's. The children all looked fantastic and were immersed in a world that they could only imagine through pictures and videos. From evacuees to David Bowie, we had it all. A huge thank you to all of the parents for supporting with this day!
