I have contacted Wigan Council (transport unit) regarding the inconsistency of crossing patrols on Highfield Grange. In the meantime, please take extra care on the crossings; I have reiterated this to the children in assembly.
-
Similarly, please encourage children to wear helmets when cycling to school, no matter the age. I am really impressed with the Y6s, who are great role models in doing this.

From the 9th to the 15th March the children will be counting every piece of plastic that is recycled or goes in the bin.
They will be bringing home a recording sheet on Monday 9th. Please pop this on your fridge and help your child count and record the plastic. Forms need to be back for 16th March.
Thank you for your support.
