New Award - Writer of the year

Lesson: Literacy

Today we have had a very special visitor in school, Mr Gaskill, our previous headteacher, has been into school to present a new award he has created for our fabulous children, Writer of the year. He took some books from all children in all year groups and chose the very first winner. We have a wonderful shield in school to add names to annually and each winner will receive their own miniature version to keep. Well done to the very first winner Freya Humphreys in our current Y6. We are very proud of you and your amazing writing throughout the year.
