Newsletter 07.11.2025
Dear Parents/Carers,
When visiting classes this week, I have been amazed at the progress being made by our children in speech, reading and handwriting, as well as superb effort in the learning of times tables too. It's an honour to also witness first hand children's social and emotional development - and celebrating broader, holistic achievements. I am blown away on a daily basis, as you can imagine!
Odd Socks/School Photos
Odd socks on Monday please to raise awareness of World Kindness and Antibullying Week. We spoke in assembly about what kindness looks like, how it makes us feel and the joy of random acts of kindness. It is also school photo day on Monday, but don't worry, the odd socks won't be in view on the photographs!
Reminder - bikes/footballs.
Children are great at getting off bikes on the yard, please continue to encourage them to do so. Please also can no footballs be brought for games on the yard before school. Much appreciated.
NSPCC Speak Out Stay Safe
This child friendly programme is aligned with the curriculum and consists of age appropriate virtual assemblies and supporting classroom based activities which we have reviewed. The content is delivered in an engaging and interactive way with the help of the NSPCC mascot Buddy. See our PM from earlier this week for details.

Christmas Support - Message from Mrs Bish
This year, we are again supporting families who maybe struggling with financial hardship and would otherwise be unable to provide gifts for the family and enjoy festive food and treats. If you or someone you know are struggling and feel this would help, please contact Mrs Bish Pastoral Manager either by phone 01942 248129 or email k.bish@marusbridge.co.uk. who can make the referral. This is a confidential service and is not means tested.
