Welcome to the Friends of Marus Bridge Association (FOMBA), we are a dedicated group of parents, teachers, and friends of the school who work together to support the growth and development of our school community. As a registered charity, we are committed to creating enriching experiences and opportunities for our children, ensuring they have the best possible educational environment.

Our mission is to foster strong relationships between the school and families, enhance the learning experience for all students, and provide much-needed resources through fundraising efforts. Every parent and carer at Marus Bridge Primary is automatically a member of FOMBA, and we welcome everyone to get involved.

Here are just a few of the things we do:

  • Organize Fundraising Events: From fun fairs to discos, movie nights, and quiz competitions, we host events that not only raise funds but also bring the school community together.
  • Support School Projects: We work closely with the school to identify areas where additional resources are needed, from upgrading playground equipment to purchasing educational tools.
  • Encourage Community Involvement: We believe in the power of community. FOMBA helps build stronger connections between families, teachers, and the wider community through our events and initiatives.
  • Volunteer Initiatives: Whether it's helping out at events, assisting with classroom activities, or lending a hand with school projects, our volunteers play a key role in the success of FOMBA.

Last year our fund raising allowed us to donate over £6300 back to the school making field trips more affordable for all and improving school resources as listed below.
